A Captivating Flute

This is a 4 end-hole flute, part of bionic research on fireflies. It focused on the concept that quantity is beauty in fireflies; I made this flute that does not have one hole but four. Thus the concept of quantity engages the listener in this emerging experience of sound. The flute also lights up in the dark, a little detail that directly relates back to fireflies.
